About Us
Welcome to Ogunquit Baptist Church—a welcoming fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ, located at 157 Shore Road in beautiful Ogunquit, Maine. As an American Baptist congregation, our stated mission is to share the truth of God’s Word to help change lives for God’s purpose and His glory.
We strive to be a beacon of His light year-round in our coastal community, inviting people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and ages to experience the transforming love of Christ.
Our church family is intergenerational, bringing together longtime residents, young adults, families, and visitors who find a genuine sense of belonging here. We gather every Sunday at 9:30 am for a blended worship service that includes contemporary worship music alongside cherished traditional hymns, Scripture readings, heartfelt prayer, and practical, Bible-centered preaching led by Pastor Brian Shore. Whether you’re joining us in person or tuning in via our live stream, you’ll find an atmosphere of grace, encouragement, and authentic community.
Rooted in faith since the early 19th century, we continue to build bridges—connecting people to God, to one another, and to a life of purpose.

BIBLE STUDY
Following our 9:30 am worship service, join us every Sunday at 11:00 am for Bible Study—a relaxed, interactive time of digging deeper into God’s Word together. Led by Pastor Brian Shore or rotating members of our church family, these sessions offer an opportunity to explore the Scriptures more thoroughly, discuss the morning sermon, ask questions, share insights, and apply biblical truths to everyday life.

CHIDLREN'S
MINISTRY
At Ogunquit Baptist Church, we are passionate about helping the youngest members of our family grow in their love for Jesus and understanding of God’s Word. Our growing Children’s Ministry, lovingly led by Beth Switzer, provides a safe, joyful, and engaging space for children during our 9:30 am Sunday worship service. Through age-appropriate Bible stories, songs, crafts, activities, and lessons that connect Scripture to everyday life, kids experience faith in fun and meaningful ways while parents participate fully in the main service.
Beth, with her heart for children and dedication to our church family, creates an environment where little ones feel welcomed, valued, and excited to learn about God’s love.
